​The age for a "kid" varies widely in the cruise industry. On Royal Caribbean only ages 12 and under benefit from their kids sale free promotion. Celebrity doesn't really do a kids sail free promo these days, but from time to time they offer 3/4th person in a cabin free promo, which is a similar concept, only without an age limitation. Since Virgin is exclusively an 18+ cruise line, their promotion applies to sailors (kids) between the ages of 18-26 years old.
