Plenty of indoor seating available if you need shelter from the sun or occasional rain drop. Bathrooms are down many stairs. Not ideal for those with mobility concerns.

A smoky draft sometimes enters the restaurant due to the smoke from outdoor diners. If sensitive, choose a seat away tucked away from the door. Restaurant has a TV which often plays live football (soccer).

Kanuck hosts a free weekly run group. They also take orders for small batch sourdough bread, delivered twice a week from Padaria Santa Isabel in Portimao.

To date, the best Chinese food we have enjoyed in the Algarve has been at Long Xing restaurant in Armacao de Pera. We first ate here with friends who were in town for a couple days. They ate here on their first night and loved it so much they wanted to come back the next day when we were together. We trusted their judgement and have been back several times since. Here's what we've enjoyed at Long Xing Chinese Restaurant in the Algarve. For a couple bucks you get a huge plastic container of warm, salty, comforting broth with wontons. I couldn't pass up the chance to try won ton soup at Restaurante Chines Long Xing.  Wonton Soup Restaurante Chines Long Xing This is no American-Chinese fast food wonton soup. This is legit. From the moment it arrived to the table and the sesame oil aroma reached my nostrils I was a happy camper.  Wan Tan Soup in Portugal Spring Roll - 1.95€Next up, if you usually get a "fried egg roll" at your local American Chinese joint, you will want to order the "spring roll" at Long Xing.  Fried Spring Roll at Restaurante Chines Long Xing Armacao de Pera Yes, the looks may remind you of a hot pocket.. or a deep fried poptart (if that was a thing) but man oh man will you enjoy this. Chicken Lo Mein Portugal A mix of quality chicken cuts together with vegetables including some unique mushrooms make this a satisfying dish! Chicken with VegetablesSomeone else ordered this dish and I don't remember which dish it was or how much it cost, but it does look pretty tasty doesn't it?  Chicken with Vegetables Restaurante Chines Long Xing Side of Fried Rice 1,95€A side of fried rice, nothing to write home about (although I guess technically I am writing home about it...)
